To reach a port, we must sail – sail, not tie at anchor – sail, not drift.  –Franklin Roosevelt

Sometimes when we have goals – or big dreams – we focus so much on the end and how life will be when we reach those goals, that we forget to keep sailing. You’ll never reach your goals unless you’re actively working toward them all the time. You can’t anchor at a safe spot in the middle of the harbor with the port within view. You can’t just drift along and hope the tide takes you to port. You have to sail. Catch the wind in your sails and work as hard as you can to get to port.
